More than 20% of foreign tourists in the first half of the year came from the U.S.
According to the Colombian-American Chamber of Commerce, AmCham Colombia, 21.5% of international travelers arriving in Colombia in the first half of the year came from the United States, consolidating that country as the main issuer of foreign tourists to Colombia with 420,834 people, according to official figures from MinCIT.
In general, tourists had a preference for sun and beach tourism in the first half of this year, with San Andres and Cartagena de Indias being the favorite destinations, with 72.1% and 70.6%, respectively. Followed by Antioquia with 56.7%. El Nuevo Siglo 10.02.2022
